Privacy Policy
The short version: We collect your email, location, and pet type when you join our waitlist. We use it only to notify you when Vetly launches in your area. We do not sell your data. Ever.
1. Who we are
Vetly Health ("Vetly", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website vetly.health and the Vetly waitlist service. We are a veterinary price comparison platform based in California.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at james@vetly.health.
2. Information we collect
When you join the Vetly waitlist, we collect the following information:
- Email address — required, used to notify you when Vetly launches
- City — optional, used to determine which area to prioritise for launch
- ZIP code — optional, used to match you with nearby veterinary practices
- Pet type — optional, used to understand demand for different types of veterinary care
- Sign-up date and time — recorded automatically when you submit the form
We do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, or any other personal data through the waitlist form.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To notify you when Vetly launches in your area
- To understand geographic demand and prioritise our launch markets
- To understand which types of pet care our users need most
- To send you occasional product updates if you have opted in
We will never use your information for any purpose not listed above without first obtaining your explicit consent.
4. How we store your information
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers located in the United States (us-west-2 region). Supabase uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
We retain your data for as long as you remain on the waitlist. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing james@vetly.health.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
We may share aggregated, anonymised data — for example, "300 pet owners in Sunnyvale are on our waitlist" — with veterinary practices as part of our business operations. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.
We may share your data with service providers who help us operate our platform (such as Supabase for data storage and email delivery providers), only to the extent necessary for them to provide those services. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and confidential.
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.
6. Your rights under CCPA
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Right to know — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Right to delete — you may request that we delete your personal information
- Right to opt out — you may opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of these rights, email us at james@vetly.health with the subject line "CCPA Request". We will respond within 45 days.
7. Cookies and tracking
The Vetly coming soon page does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics tools. We do not track your behaviour across other websites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
