The short version: We collect your email, location, and pet type when you join our waitlist. We use it only to notify you when Vetly launches in your area. We do not sell your data. Ever.

1. Who we are

Vetly Health ("Vetly", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website vetly.health and the Vetly waitlist service. We are a veterinary price comparison platform based in California.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at james@vetly.health.

2. Information we collect

When you join the Vetly waitlist, we collect the following information:

We do not collect your name, phone number, payment information, or any other personal data through the waitlist form.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We will never use your information for any purpose not listed above without first obtaining your explicit consent.

4. How we store your information

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers located in the United States (us-west-2 region). Supabase uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.

We retain your data for as long as you remain on the waitlist. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing james@vetly.health.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

We may share aggregated, anonymised data — for example, "300 pet owners in Sunnyvale are on our waitlist" — with veterinary practices as part of our business operations. This data cannot be used to identify you individually.

We may share your data with service providers who help us operate our platform (such as Supabase for data storage and email delivery providers), only to the extent necessary for them to provide those services. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and confidential.

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request.

6. Your rights under CCPA

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at james@vetly.health with the subject line "CCPA Request". We will respond within 45 days.

7. Cookies and tracking

The Vetly coming soon page does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics tools. We do not track your behaviour across other websites.

8. Children's privacy

Vetly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at james@vetly.health and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
